At Northwest Cannabis Company, we talk a lot about showing up for the community, but more importantly, we act on it. That’s why we partner with Tualatin Riverkeepers to support, protect, and restore the watershed that runs through the heart of our region.
This isn’t just a feel-good initiative. It’s a long-term commitment to a mission that aligns with our values: keeping the Northwest beautiful, accessible, and thriving for generations to come.

Why the Tualatin River Matters
The Tualatin River is more than a waterway. It’s a living part of our environment and culture. Flowing for nearly 80 miles through Washington County, it supports local wildlife, fuels recreation, and provides natural beauty for the communities that call this area home.
But like many natural spaces, the Tualatin River faces challenges: pollution, habitat loss, limited public access, and the ongoing impact of urban development. That’s where Tualatin Riverkeepers come in.
Their work spans everything from ecological restoration and native species planting to youth education, paddle programs, and policy advocacy. They lead hands-on restoration events, teach the next generation about environmental stewardship, and help protect the river’s future, one project at a time.
What Our Partnership Looks Like
NWCC supports Tualatin Riverkeepers year-round, both through direct donations and community involvement. A portion of our in-store sales goes directly to funding their efforts, so every purchase you make helps power on-the-ground work that makes a difference.
We also show up in person. From Earth Day cleanups to invasive species removal and restoration events, you’ll find members of our team (and often their families) rolling up their sleeves alongside Tualatin Riverkeepers staff and volunteers. It’s one of the ways we stay connected to the land and to the people who care for it.

Local Partnership with Long-Term Impact
This partnership isn’t a seasonal campaign. It’s part of how we do business. As a company rooted in Oregon, we believe in taking care of the land that sustains us and investing in the people and organizations who are already doing that work.
So when you shop at Northwest Cannabis Company, you’re supporting more than quality cannabis. You’re backing a model of business that believes community care and environmental action go hand-in-hand.
We’re proud to stand with the Tualatin Riverkeepers, and we’re just getting started.
